Pediatrics and Neonatology (PEDN), formerly known as Acta Pediatrica Taiwanica, serves as the official peer-reviewed publication of the Taiwan Pediatric Association and Taiwan Society of Neonatology. The journal is committed to assisting pediatricians in staying up to date with the latest advancements in pediatric and neonatal medicine. As an open access journal, PEDN is published bimonthly by Elsevier and is indexed in various reputable databases including SCIE, Medline, ScienceDirect, Scopus, SIIC Database, EMBASE, BIOSIS Previews, Acervo BBSIIC, and Biological Abstracts PASCAL (2010).
Following its merger with Clinical Neonatology, PEDN continues to provide a platform for the presentation of novel findings and insights in the field of pediatrics and neonatology. It also serves as a means of continuing education for practitioners and physicians, promoting excellence in both clinical and academic aspects of these disciplines. Under the new journal title, PEDN is dedicated to publishing original research, comprehensive reviews, clinical observations, brief communications, and case reports in related fields.
