Gynecologic Oncology Reports: Volume 35 to Volume 38
Gynecologic Oncology Reports, a companion to the esteemed Gynecologic Oncology, is an online-only, open access journal dedicated to the rapid publication of various types of articles in the realm of gynecologic oncology. Emphasizing originality, quality, and clarity, Gynecologic Oncology Reports welcomes narrative and survey articles, case reports, case series, and letters to the editor addressing previously published manuscripts, among other short communications pertaining to tumors of the female reproductive tract.
The journal adheres to a robust peer-review policy, ensuring that all manuscripts undergo a rigorous evaluation process. Upon acceptance for publication, authors are notified and requested to pay an Article Processing Fee to facilitate open access to their work. However, letters to the editor commenting on work previously published in either Gynecologic Oncology or Gynecologic Oncology Reports will be published free of charge.
Gynecologic Oncology Reports is fully open access, operating under a funding model reliant on author fees rather than library subscription payments. The journal recognizes that not all authors may have the means to afford these fees, and as such, individual waiver requests are considered on a case-by-case basis, potentially granting waivers in genuine cases of need.
The journal, alongside Gynecologic Oncology, actively encourages submissions that aim to understand, address, or eliminate health disparities and differences in health status or access to healthcare. This includes disparities based on race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity or expression, religion, national origin, age, disability, marital status, or social determinants of health. By fostering research aimed at reducing health inequalities, Gynecologic Oncology Reports contributes to improving access to and the quality of healthcare for all individuals.
